The idea
This project started as an idea to do an acoustic surround experience with the audience in the center, surrounded by stringed instruments.
I composed some music for this and arranged it for a string quartet, western guitar, mandolin, banjo, nylon strung guitar and resonator.
öð
The word 'öð' stems from the word 'óð´which in old norse can mean music, poetry and divine inspiration. The music is instrumental and inspired by folk music.
